Three free nights to find out whether it works in your house. After that, from €9.99 a year. Every plan includes every feature — there is no tier that withholds the alarm.
The short version. Free for three nights, no card and no account. Then €9.99/year, €3.99/month, or €1.99 for a prepaid week. One plan covers the parent phone; the nursery phone is always free.
What’s free
Your first three nights, with everything switched on: cry detection, the silent-mode alarm, live video, two-way talk-back, the lot. No card, no sign-up, no email.
A “night” is a distinct calendar day on which you ran a monitoring session, however short. Being precise about the awkward part: a quiet night still uses one. The count is of nights you relied on it, not nights the baby cried.
To stop a reinstall resetting the count, the app keeps an anonymised device code on our server. It is not tied to a name, an email or an account, and you can see it in the app and have it deleted whenever you like — the privacy policy explains exactly what it is.

Prices are shown in your local currency at checkout, and are charged by Google Play or the App Store rather than by us.

Which phone needs the plan
Only the parent phone — strictly, the store account that bought the plan. The nursery phone runs the same free app and never needs one of its own, so the old handset in your drawer costs nothing to press into service.
If you replace the parent phone, sign in to the store with the same account and restore the purchase.
Cancelling, renewals and refunds
- Cancel in Google Play → Subscriptions, or on iPhone in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. It takes two taps and does not go through us.
- Cancelling stops future charges and you keep access until the period you have paid for ends.
- Auto-renewing plans renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. The prepaid week never renews.
- A monitoring session already running is never interrupted by a plan change. The app decides once, when the session starts — never in the middle of a night.
- Refunds are handled by the store under its policy. In the EEA and the UK you also have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. If a store refuses a refund you believe you are owed, email us and we will help. The full terms are here.
Against a hardware monitor
A dedicated baby monitor runs roughly $150–400, works in one house, and becomes e-waste when the baby outgrows it. Calmina runs on a phone you already own and stopped using.
The honest counterpoint: a hardware monitor is a single-purpose device that cannot be interrupted by a phone call, does not need permissions granted correctly, and will not be affected by an OS update. If you want something with one job and no configuration, buy the hardware. If you have a spare phone and want it to reach you when your phone is on silent, that is what this is for.
